One-piece aluminum chamber is easy to clean and won't leak into electrical component areas. Black finished interior reduces glare, improving visibility of tissue specimen. Top ledge of bath allows space for preheating or for evaporating away any remaining water on the glass slides. Chamber is completely encircled by sheathed heater for uniform, broad surface heating.
