Tough Transport® carts are made from fully welded stainless steel construction. The 1000 lb. (450 kg) capacity is ideal for continuous hauling of heavy loads over uneven floors and outdoor surfaces. The legs and frame are constructed of U-frame design, eliminating the need for corner reinforcements. The shelves are made of 14-gauge stainless steel, and are continuously TIG welded to the vertical leg frames. The shelves are reinforced in the front and back with a 18-gauge angle that is welded to the shelf underside. Each cart has two 5" (127 mm) diameter extra-load swivel casters with 1-1/4" (32 mm) wide non-marking polyurethane wheels, and two 8" diameter extra-load wheels that are mounted to a fixed axle. The swivel casters are plate type and are bolted to an 18-gauge 5" wide stainless steel cross member with a galvanized reinforcement. The push handle is constructed of 18 gauge 1" O.D stainless steel tubing. The handle mounting brackets are continuously TIG welded to the vertical leg frame. The carts have two bumpers mounted to the handle ends and two 6" (152 mm) bumpers riveted to front legs. Steam clean or wipe down. Sanitizes easily. NSF listed.
