Designed expressly to occupy a minimum of bench space while maintaining the versatility of our larger units. Simple to use and maintain, and is built to last. The unit is powered by a 1/30 hp General Electric split phase motor that drives the platform through a mechanical transmission utilizing a variable pitch pulley system. The speed is continuously variable between a range of 20-240 osc/min. Yet, at a given setting the speed is constant and is not affected by normal line voltage fluctuations. The horizontal stroke is adjustable to ½", 1" or 1½". Max load is 30 lbs, and with a footprint of only 12" x 18", this shaker can be placed virtually anywhere. Unit comes complete with an aluminum platform that can hold numerous configurations of Erlenmeyer flasks. Accessories include: individual flask holders; separatory funnel holders; utility box carriers; or you can double your shaking capacity with a tiered platform system.
