Differentiation of multiple scans is easy with the 6" Full-Color LCD screen of the GENESYS™ 2. The SPECTRONIC® GENESYS™ 5 is supplied with a 6" monochrome LCD screen. Whether color or monochrome, both screens provide the convenience of easy to read operating instructions, data, and the continuous ability to monitor instruments status. SoftCard™ APPLICATION I: Performs Standard Curves, Survey Scan, Three-point net absorbance, Area-under-a-curve, Simple kinetics, and Absorbance ratio functions. SoftCard™ APPLICATION II: Contains all of Application I programs plus advanced kinetics, absorbance difference, and multiple wavelength programs. BIOCHEMISTRY SOFTCARD™: With time saving programs for Nucleic acid concentration and purity, Standard curves for commonly used protein methods, Direct UV measurement of proteins and nucleic acids, and Fraction monitoring. SOFTDRINK SOFTCARD™: Performs the following tests which are run on a routine basis in the soft drink industry: Phosphate assay, Beverage color, Sugar color, and Water analysis. PERFORMANCE VALIDATION SoftCard™: Wavelength accuracy, Noise, Stray radiant energy, Photometric linearity/accuracy, 0% Transmission. When used in conjunction with the 333150 SPECTRONIC® STANDARDS Set, compliance for ISO and GMP documentation is assured. The standard 8-Position automated cell holder provides for enhanced laboratory productivity with precise and repeatable positioning of samples. The holder will accommodate path lengths up to 100 mm. lt will also accommodate micro cells with volumes as small as 10µL. A thermoelectric sipper system, an ambient sipper system, thermal blocks, and thermoelectric cell holders provide the flexibility needed in today's laboratory.
