The unit will automatically compensate for variations in temperature. This means ultimate accuracy without temperature correction charts or temperature measurement. A new optical design improves image resolution and provides high contrast for easy viewing of scales. In addition, all glass anti-reflection coated optical components, including a new 10x focusable eyepiece, have been developed to improve illumination and shadowline contrast.
